Richly illustrated recollections of Professor Ryszard Szawłowski, a tireless researcher of life and publications of Rafał Lemkin (the creator of the concept of genocide), who died on December 2, 2020. It is not only an account of personal meetings and conversations, but also of many details from the life of the scientist, never published before. It draws on the interviews with the Professor's wife and the family source materials made available by her.
