Impeccable character as a ground for the official Bar registration of lawyers in Poland during the interwar period

The article presents one of applicable requirements in the interwar period for the official registration of lawyers with the Bar, namely an impeccable character of the potential entrant. The genesis of the introduction process for the requirement, the meaning of an impeccable character as defined by the authorities of the Bar Council and case law of the Supreme Court are all raised and discussed.
